SUNFOODS INC. was established in 1916 in Hiroshima City as a seasoning manufacturer, with a main focus on sauces and table vinegar. Our “Okonomi Sauce,” which we have continued to research and develop with a commitment unique taste while listening to feedback from various Okonomiyaki specialty restaurants in Hiroshima, is being used as a sauce for professionals at each restaurant located in “Okonomimura” and famous okonomiyaki specialty restaurants throughout Japan.
In order to have customers nationwide enjoy the handmade taste of authentic okonomiyaki professionals, we have entered into the chilled okonomiyaki market, and deliver okonomiyaki that is fried by hand one serving at a time to ordinary homes via direct shipment by department stores and shopping programs on television, etc. We are also focusing efforts on okonomiyaki promotion activities, including an “Okonomiyaki Classroom” for those who wish to open an okonomiyaki restaurant and “hands-on activities” for tourists.
