Japanese Sake[2017 2nd Term]Hiroshima Sake Brewers Association

“Hiroshima Sake” features a flavorful taste, with a warm and crisp, rich aroma. At the First National Alcoholic Beverage Competition held at a brewing research institute in Tokyo in 1907, “Hiroshima Sake” won hands down, being awarded first and second prize among the five awards for excellence, which instantly raised Hiroshima’s reputation as an established sake brewing center.

Due to the limited space of the exhibition, we introduce only seven of the 49 brewers in Hiroshima Prefecture.

■“Ginjo sake, Gold Saijotsuru”… Sake continuously awarded a gold quality award by the Monde Selection.

■“Zuikan Junmai Ginjo”… Zuikan focuses on the water, rice, people and culture of the region.

■“Hoken Junmai Sake”… This sake can be enjoyed with meals with its gentle fragrance and rich taste.

■“Suiryu Kuromatsu”… Passing on the quality taste of local sake made of the ultra-soft waters of Kure.

■“Ugo-no-Tsuki Authentic Daiginjo”… Daiginjo offers a refined taste with a lasting impression.

■“Kiku Bunmei, Ginjo Raw Stored Sake”… Sake with a fruity aroma and refreshing dry taste.
