Established as Suzukishoten in 1926 before merging with AJINIHON CO., LTD. in 1937 to begin producing
everything from wheat gluten to MSG seasoning. We then became a comprehensive food and seasonings
company with Kyowa Hakko Kogyo Co., Ltd. and NISSIN FOOD PRODUCTS Co., Ltd. joining in on management
in 1962 and 1971, respectively. Currently, we satisfy customers in Hiroshima, throughout Japan and abroad,
offering both small bagged soups and larger, business-oriented sizes. Moving forward, we will continue to contribute
to society by never forgetting our responsibility to deliver cuisine filled with fun and happiness.

The head office and factory

“AJINIHON Dashi”

Championed by customers for over 50 years since first going on sale in 1963. This Japanese dashi has the deep flavor of a base of dried mackerel, skipjack and kombu seasoning.

“Hiroshima-Raised Oba-Iriko-Dashi”

A rich stock made from rare Oba-iriko from Hiroshima. Oba-iriko are dried sardines in a comparatively large size (8cm or larger). These produce flavorful fish stock for a discerning palate, without the harsh, bitter taste that sometimes occurs in iriko stock.
Certified as The Hiroshima Brand in February 2019.

“Additive free Japanese dashi containing Hiroshima Oba sardines”

Made with premium Hiroshima fresh Oba sardines for incredible flavor.
This dashi is crafted with dried bonito, kombu and other carefully selected Japanese ingredients for dashi made without chemical seasonings (flavor enhancers) containing added salt or powdered soy sauce.
Certified as a Setouchi Brand in September 2017.

These use Additive free Japanese dashi containing Hiroshima Oba sardines.
