Founded in 1943, we manufacture power distribution units, with a focus on circuit breakers and electric meters, as well as fuel pumps for automobiles, etc. What’s more, Fukuyama Works is Mitsubishi Electric’s first “energy-saving model factory,” and we also focus on the development of energy-saving support equipment by utilizing our accumulated know-how.
Circuit breakers
Since we developed and launched Japan’s first no-fuse breakers in 1933, Mitsubishi Electric has continued to be an industry leader. In recent years, we have introduced a popular lineup of circuit breakers equipped with MDU (Measuring Display Unit) that includes grasping the amount of electricity consumption and distribution network needs.

Watt hour meters are a vital part of places using electricity including households, office buildings and factories. In recent years, the transition from the former analog types to electronic types has led to new ways of gathering electricity usage data using the customers’ tablets and smartphones. Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)
UPS is an electrical apparatus that performs backup operation and provides emergency power from a battery to a load when the power source fails due to power outage, instantaneous voltage drop, etc. UPS protects all systems – from office computers to FA equipment in factories – from power source failures.
