Mihara office was established in 1943 as a dedicated plant for steam trains and air braking systems for railway vehicles, and has developed production activities based at its three plants: ITOZAKI, KOHAMA, and WADAOKI. With our extensive experience in this field and by taking advantage of our project management system and engineering techniques, we have delivered transportation systems, printing presses, and paper converting machines both at home and abroad.
We also have gained a reputation for high reliability by manufacturing high quality products including LRV (light rail vehicle), AGT (Automated Guideway Transit), braking systems for Shinkansen trains, and sheet-fed offset presses.
Transportation system (High-speed AGT)
The maximum operation speed of a conventional AGT is 80km/h (60km/h in Japan). However, our high-speed AGT system with the world’s fastest speed of 120km/h proposes new possibilities for urban transportation systems.
