The Hiroshima Office is comprised of the “Global Engineering Center,” which is in charge of development, procurement and production optimization for the entire group; the “ITSUKAICHI Plant,” which produces medium-sized power shovels (7t ~ 35t), large-sized power shovels (40 ~ 220t), automobile scrapping machines, and building demolition machines; and the “NUMATA Plant,” which supplies parts to each plant. As such, the Hiroshima Office functions as the main domestic hub that shoulders development and production for Kobelco Construction Machinery Group.
SK200-10 (heavy shovel (model))
The new SK200-10 achieves even higher productivity with extremely low fuel consumption. Features such as our Horunavi ICT-based operation system and KSCAN, our unique preventive maintenance system, have been further improved and a new collision reduction system (K-EYE PRO) has been added.
SK350DLC (construction and demolition machinery (model))
The SK350DLC series uses the Next Joint method, our latest trifold attachment method. These super large building demolition machines are spectacular to behold on big project sites and can operate at a height of 63m—larger than any other demolition machinery in the world. The series was recognized in the Guinness Book of World Records in 2006 as the world’s tallest building demolition machine.
We are the first construction machinery manufacturer to adopt technology that sounds an alarm and automatically slows or stops the machinery when a person or obstruction is detected in a blind area during driving, reversing or turning. A variety of other new features have also been adopted to meet needs such as greater durability and easier maintenance.
