“Handcrafted Cloth Dolls: Minori” are comforting and soothing cloth dolls. Their concept is “heartwarming cloth dolls to keep close and gaze upon.” They are modeled after the nostalgic, daily lives of an old man and an old woman.

Dressed in outfits made from “Bingo Kasuri”—registered as a Traditional Craft of Hiroshima Prefecture and praised as one of Japan’s three major geometric-patterned textiles—these dolls focus on authenticity. Every single detail, from their faces and hands to their feet and individual fingers, is crafted entirely from cloth.

Their defining features are the old woman’s warm appearance and gentle smile, and the old man’s bald head, which is created using a single, seamless piece of cloth.
