Our company was founded in Tadanoumi, Takehara City, Hiroshima in 1932 for the purpose of manufacturing canned oranges and orange marmalade. We are committed to applying our canning techniques to the manufacture of safe and secure foods made of fresh and flavorful ingredients, under our belief that “canned foods must be made by trusted persons, because the contents cannot be seen.”

5.0.2 JP

Tadanoumi, Takehara City (the location of our head office) is a place of scenic beauty, located virtually at the center of Setouchi, one of the best growing areas for citrus fruits.

Aohata Traditional

We have been utilizing the same process since we released our marmalade to ensure the fruit in each jar is boiled down for the perfect flavor. We use Setouchi citrus fruit for a deep, rich flavor.

Aohata 55 Jam

This is Japan’s first reduced sugar jam. Its characteristics include a “clean sweetness” and refreshing aftertaste that does not leave an overly sweet taste in your mouth after eating.

Aohata Whole Fruits

This is a fruit spread that lets you enjoy the natural sweetness and fruit flavor without the use of sugar. A refreshing finish that suppresses any lingering sweetness so as to leave the sensation of freshly picked fruit.

The new production technique called the fine fruity technique is utilized to extract the great fresh taste of fruits. This technique combines aroma return technology, oxygen concentration reduction technology and total excess heat reduction technology to create a great taste like actual fresh fruits.
